The Happy Earthlings Mission: Raise Awareness & Funds To Support Animal Welfare Worldwide.
Happy Earthlings was created out of a strong desire to give the animal kingdom the recognition and acknowledgement of validity in the world.
Animal welfare campaigning isn't something new, but it has frequently been sidelined in the public perspective - treated as a second rate cause.
We recognised that a lot of animal welfare campaigners created apparel that only highlighted extreme conditions, with graphic imagery that is often upsetting. While we do think it is important that we raise awareness to the inhuman conditions that animals are often subjected to, these kinds of apparel to do not look cool to wear, can be polarising, and ultimately do not raise the funds that we would like to see invested in these causes.
With that in mind, Happy Earthlings was created with the aim of creating clothing, tees and apparel that is fashionable, cool, and accepted by the wider public. Creating a "cool" brand with a meaningful purpose is the mission in play.
Happy Earthlings mission is to work with animal welfare organisations in different ways. As our baseline effort. Whilst we are in our bootstrapping phase, 10% of all the net profits from our apparel gets donated to a variety of causes based on the pressing issues at the time. With the rest of the proceeds being re-invested into the brand, design, marketing and raising awareness.
Beyond this, our long term aim is to create our own animal welfare foundation which would be working full time closely to support various rescue centres and global rehabilitation organisations.
We also sponsor organisations with their own apparel collections, helping their campaigning through running advertising and sponsored posts. And we collaborate with artists for creating fashionable and elegant designs who donate proceeds to the foundations of their choice.
Happy Earthlings believes that the current plight facing innocent, discarded animals can not only be helped, but fixed! Animals, both domestic and wild, are vital for the harmonious operation of our natural ecosystems. They have a direct affect on our rivers, forests, climates.
They are earthlings just like we are. With every right to live and be a part of this world.
